The GMS Kindergarten hours are 8:25-10:55 for the morning session, and 12:15-2:45 for the afternoon session. AM Kindergarten students who ride the bus will disembark with grades 1-4. Staff will be on duty to assist students. If parents wish to drive, students can be dropped off in the drop-off loop from 8:10-8:20. Children are tardy if they are not in class by 8:25 and need to be signed in at the office.
At 10:55, teachers and staff will escort Kindergarten students to the main driveway loop and release students to parent cars. All cars are to stop at the stop sign cone, and parents need to wait by their vehicles for their child to join them.
PM kindergarten students should arrive no earlier than 12:10. Parent cars should enter the main driveway and pull up to the yellow cone. Parents assist their child to a staff person to check in, then pull out of the driveway to make room for other cars. At 12:15, the driveway will be blocked and late students will need to be signed in at the office.
Pm Kindergarten students will ride home on the bus with students from grades 1-4. If you wish to pick up your child, you will need to send a note, including the child's first and last name and the full name of the person picking the student up. Stundent pick-up is in the gym. You will need photo identification in order to sign out your student.
